Following the fundraiser at Bunnings on March 16 all NCO’s are expected to attend an NCO training weekend. Civilian attire is to be worn for the weekend. Cadets are to bring food for dinner and Sunday breakfast, as well as any snacks they wish to bring and also pen and paper. Cadets need to bring sleeping attire, sleeping bag and any toiletries and other night attire required.

WHEN: IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING BUNNINGS FUNDRAISER UNTIL 1230HRS ON SUNDAY

WHERE: BUNNINGS WAREHOUSE AND THEN WIGRAM CADET HQ

WEAR: CIVILIAN ATTIRE

BRING: FOOD, PEN AND PAPER.

ALL NCO’s ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT PLEASE

This year No. 38 Squadron will be having our term 1 night out at Laser Tag, in McLeans Island. The cost of this will be $20. Cadets are to meet in civilian attire at 1830hours, at Laser Tag. Cadets can be picked up from laser tag at 2110 hours.

WHAT: Laser Tag

WHEN: 1830hrs (6:30pm) to 2110hrs (9:10pm) at Laser Tag McLeans Island Road 1060 McLeans Island Road – 500m past Orana Park.

COST: $20

WEAR: Civilian Attire

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Welcome to 38 (Wigram) Squadron ATC for 2013. The Support Committee would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend a Parents’ Open Night showcasing the cadet programme followed by our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 20th March, from 6.45. Supper will be served. This offers you the opportunity to watch the cadets parade, see some of the training programme, hear of unit and cadet achievements, events and opportunities, and meet the officers and committee members.

A strong support committee means a healthy unit, with the funds and person-power to run many exciting and rewarding activities for the cadets. On Saturday 16th march 2013 (from 1000 to 1300) the support committee is running a fundraiser at Bunnings warehouse, Marshlands Road, Shirley. We will be selling whitebait sandwiches and hot dogs, and holding a cake stall. We also plan to hold two drill sessions during the day (Cadets to arrange), and there are plans to also do a recruitment drive.

We require all cadets to please bring home baking, hygienically sealed and ready for sale, to parade night on Wednesday 13th March.

We will also require a number of cadets, parents and committee members to help with the stalls throughout the day. The funds raised help to subsidise the many expenses involved in running the unit, without which the annual fees would need to be substantially higher.
